The Department held Masters Project defenses for two of its students on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at
2.30 pm in the University of Nairobi Towers, Mini Lecture Theatre 01.

Ms Mirriam Aga presented her MA Project titled: Women and Deradicalisation Efforts in Kenya: The case of Isiolo County, 2011-2018

The Department held a PhD Concept paper presentations for three newly admitted PhD students on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 2.30 pm in the University of Nairobi Towers, Mini Lecture Theatre 01.

Ms Christine Maisori Boke presented her PhD concept paper on: Expedient Autochtony and Identity in Kenya's Inter-community Relations: The case of Kuria-Maasai (1944-2019)

The Department held a PhD Thesis proposal defense for one of its students on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2.00 pm in the University of Nairobi Towers, Mini Lecture Theatre 04.

Mr. Simon Kipyegon Cherutich presented his PhD proposal on : Dual Application of Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms alongside Judicial System in the Management of Land Conflicts in Nakuru County, Kenya (1990-2018)

The Department of History and Archaeology successfully hosted the 7th in a number of series of seminars dubbed "Muted Histories" . The seminar was held in a blended mode with the speaker of the Day and a physical audience being at the UoN Towers, 4th Floor room MLT 04 while an online audience was participating via Zoom. The event was held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 2.30 pm.
