Speaking during a seminar organized by the Department of History and Archeology, Ms Tabitha noted that educating the public is essential to preserve heritage.
The Department of History and Archaeology successfully hosted the 1st in a number of series of seminars dubbed "Emerging Horizons in Historical and Archaeological Research" . The seminar was held in a blended mode with the speaker of the Day and a physical audience being at the UoN Towers, 4th Floor room MLT 04 while an online audience was participating via Zoom. The event was held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 2.30 pm.
Simon Kipyegon Cherutich is a Principal Deputy Director Security at the University of Nairobi, a PhD student in Armed Conflict & Peace Studies in the department. He holds a Masters Degree in Peace & Conflict Management from Kenyatta University. His research interest is in the use of Alternative dispute resolution in the management of Conflict.
