MUTED HISTORIES: SEMINAR FIVE - DR. KENNETH OMBONGI

The Department of History and Archaeology successfully hosted the 5th in a number of series of seminars dubbed "Muted Histories" . The seminar was held in a blended mode with the speaker of the Day and a physical audience being at the UoN Towers, 4th Floor room MLT 03 while an online audience was participating via Zoom. The event was held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 2.30 pm.

MUTED HISTORIES: SEMINAR FIVE - DR. KENNETH OMBONGI

Kenneth Ombongi is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, University of Nairobi. Previously, he was the Principal/Chief Executive Ofcer at the Kenya Utalii College, Nairobi. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge; MPhil from JawaharLal Nehru University; MA and BA from the University of Nairobi. His research interests include history of biomedicine in Africa, that of ideas and statecraft as well as African politics.
