Collaboration between University of Nairobi and Yamaguchi University, Yoshida, Japan.

Collaboration between Yamaguchi University, Yoshida, Japan and University of Nairobi. Department of History and Archaeology coordinates the collaboration on behalf of Faculty of Arts and social sciences.

The collaboration centers on:

1. Staff and student exchange programmes
2. Sharing and dissemination of ideas on research, teaching and learning.
3. Provision of short courses for both students and lecturers

Yamaguchi University, Yoshida Japan intends to send staff and students for a visit to university of Nairobi from 3^rd to 7^th March 2024. The visit will involve

1. Visit to the Department of History and Archaeology
2. Courtesy call to the Dean-FASS
3. Visit to Corporate communication
4. Courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor and DVC(AA)
5. Visit  to the National museum and  Department of Anthropology, Gender and African studies(DAGAS)

Visit by Prof. Daisuke Hayasaka Vice Dean Faculty of veterinary Medicine Yamaguchi University to the Department of History and Archaeology on 14^th February 2024.
